FAQ

What can I expect on the first visit?
All your appointments are completely confidential. My goal is to create a safe environment for you to explore, heal and make life long changes towards a healthier happier, you.

Much of the first appointment (Intake Appointment) will be spent learning about you, your medical history and current nutrition situation. We’ll discuss your Intake form and three-day food log. Then we’ll spend time clarifying your needs and goals and begin creating a nutrition plan with attainable steps to help you succeed.

How often do I need to see you?
It depends on your goals. For most clients, having ongoing support and a sounding board helps facilitate sustainable changes, whether that is every 1-2 weeks or every 3-4 weeks. You and I will determine the best fit for your nutritional and lifestyle needs.

What if I’m embarrassed by what I eat?
I provide a safe and non-judgmental environment for you to explore your nutritional and lifestyle concerns. We won’t be labeling foods GOOD or BAD. There will be no “food shaming” when working together.

Do you have a cancellation policy?
Yes, I request that all appointments you cannot make are cancelled at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment to avoid a $55 cancellation fee, and more importantly to allow someone else to fill this time slot.
